About me

I’m a UIUX designer based in Indonesia. In my past life, I wore many hats from art student with a minor in social work, pre-school teacher, and accountant. I had no idea how all that connected until I experienced difficulty navigating tax and accounting software at work and heard about UIUX. Since then, I have seen how UIUX connects my visual design skills, business acumen, and desire to help others and impact the wider community. It became my goal to empower people to confidently interact with technology by designing easy to use interfaces.

In my free time, I binge read tons of historical fiction 📚, do twisted word searches 🔍, and play with my dog Cookie 🐶. My friends call me a “night owl” 🦉 because I get the most creative sparks 💡 to transform inspirations into working ideas at well past midnight 🌝.

What motivates me?

Personal growth from learning new things 🧠

I love to be challenged because of the reward that comes with overcoming learning curves. The more I learn, the more I contribute to helping others because I have more to offer in terms of knowledge. I am most excited working on a variety of projects.

The opportunity to collaborate and strive towards a common goal reminds me that I am a part of something bigger than myself. Sometimes an arduous task can be fun by having good people around.

Delivering thorough work 👀

I catch errors to prevent big problems from happening. As a former accountant, I was responsible for authorizing the company’s payments. A wrong transaction could cost us great financial loss, so being detail-oriented motivated me to do my work well.

Meeting deadlines by managing time well ⏱

I plan ahead for unexpected events to avoid compromising on quality due to rushing at the end of a project. Spending time with my friends, family, and dog to balance work and life are positive motivators.
